Itinerary for a Safari
DAY 1: Get up early in the morning, prepare your breakfast, and head to the airport to fly to Nairobi, Kenya, for your honeymoon. You will depart from Entebbe airport at noon and arrive in Nairobi around lunch time, where you will be met by our tour guides and led to your respective hotel for your late lunch, relax dinner, and overnight stay.
DAY 2 Get up early in the morning, eat breakfast, and then go to Masai Mara National Park.
You will only have two stopovers at Great Rift Valley view point and Narok town to arrive in time for lunch at Mara sopa lodge. After lunch, you will go on an afternoon game drive in the reserve until late evening when you will return for dinner and an overnight at your respective lodge Mara sopa. It is difficult to believe that the Masai Mara has such a diverse and abundant wildlife.
This is the time of year that the great migration occurs. Mara has previously reported over 450 animal species. Including well-known species such as tigers, crocodiles, rhinos, and hippos. The Mara hosts what is perhaps the most exciting natural occurrence on the planet. The annual migration of millions of wildebeests and zebras from Tanzania’s Serengeti in search of water and pasture.
The predators of the savanna-lion, cheetah, wild dog jackal, hyena, and vultures-follow close behind. Later, return to your respective lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge.
DAY 3: Eat breakfast in the morning.
Set yourself up with a picnic lunch and enjoy a full day of game drives, spotting all types of wildlife. Return to your respective lodge completely drained, have dinner, and an overnight Mara sopa.
DAY 4 7:00 a.m: After breakfast, go on an early morning game drive in the reserve before driving to Nairobi, where you will arrive in the evening. Drop off in central Nairobi at your hotel, relax, have dinner, and spend the night at YMCA hostels.
DAY 05 Wake up not so early, have your late breakfast, and then head to Nairobi for a city tour, visiting the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Katanga Province, Africa’s largest slam, the Langata Animal Orphanage, and many other nice places where you can enjoy yourself for pictures, delight, and fun. After that, return for lunch and relax in the afternoon, then swim at the beach in the evening, then return for dinner and overnight at YMCA hostels.
06TH DAY; Morning Game drive in Lake Nakuru
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and then go to Nakuru National Park with your well-packed lunch for bird watching and game drives where you can see so many different species of animals and birds, particularly flamingoes. You will see flamingoes at Lake Nakuru, also known as the salt lake, as well as flamingoes at Lake Naivasha.
It’s a long trip when going on nature walks/game drives, but it’s worth it when you get to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. In the Nakuru Lodge.
