Horse Riding Safaris in Masai Mara

This is due in no small part to the fact that certain areas, such as the extended regions of the Masai Mara Game reserve, have an abundance of wildlife, and the excitement of being so close to magnificent animals while riding a horse is a unique and memorable experience.

You will be able to hear the soil breathing under your horses hoof and a night sky lighted with the chilly purpose of a billion stars while you are out on the ride. Horseback riding safaris are not allowed within the main reserve of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. As a result, they are only available in the surrounding parts of the greater Maasai Mara region, which includes private conservancies and game ranches.

To reserve a spot on the horseback riding safari, we ask that you please email us the date that works best for you. The ride must begin no earlier than the second day of your stay in Masai Mara. We need to know where you will be sleeping the night before in Masai Mara so that we can determine whether or not it will be feasible to move you to the stables in a timely manner.
