Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Game Drive in Nairobi National Park

You’ll be met at the airport or hotel and driven straight to Nairobi National Park. The animals are wild, the landscapes are open, and just beyond the giraffes, you’ll see the outline of a bustling capital city. Lions lounge near the trail. Rhinos graze without fences.

After the game drive, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel. Enjoy a relaxed evening with your first taste of Kenyan hospitality.

Day 2: Travel to Masai Mara – Afternoon Safari

After breakfast, your journey to the Mara begins. Whether by road through the Rift Valley or a bush flight straight into the reserve, you’ll feel the shift as the city gives way to endless savannah.

By early afternoon, you’ll check into your lodge, enjoy lunch, and head out for a game drive. Lions, elephants, hyenas, giraffes — this is the real thing. Your guide tracks prints and listens for calls. The land stretches wide. You return just before sunset, with stories ready for dinner.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara + Maasai Village Visit

Wake early. The air is cool and the light is soft. You’ll head into the reserve with breakfast packed and eyes sharp. If it’s migration season, you may follow the herds. Even if not, predators are active at first light. A leopard might be on the move. A cheetah may sprint.

By midday, you’ll stop for a picnic in the wild. On the way back in the afternoon, you’ll make a detour — into a Maasai village. You’ll meet the elders, walk inside a manyatta, and learn how a people live closely with land and livestock.

You return to the lodge with the memories of the wild just in time for a warm shower, dinner and relaxation.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru – Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, you’ll depart Maasai Mara and start the drive to Lake Nakuru. This journey is adventurous but rewarding as you climb back into the Rift Valley, with wide views and changing landscapes just before you reach.

Finally, after a few hours of driving, you arrive by midday, check in, and enjoy lunch just before the next part of the adventure starts.

In the afternoon, you’ll explore Lake Nakuru National Park, a renown land of the flamingoes, black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and sometimes leopards resting in trees. It’s a quieter park — but one that offers close, rewarding encounters.

You also have opportunity to take a boat ride or a walking safari experience here for a unique encounter.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive – Return to Nairobi

Unfortunately, every good thing must come to an end and yes, this is your final day here. Your day starts early with breakfast just before you proceed for a final short game drive in search of rhinos crossing the road or hyenas on patrol.

After breakfast, you’ll check out and begin the return to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.

Drop-off at the airport or your hotel will be arranged based on your travel plans.
