Leave Nairobi early and descend into the Great Rift Valley. The journey is scenic — escarpments, small towns, Maasai villages. By early afternoon, you’re in the Masai Mara.

After lunch, your first game drive begins. The plains are alive — elephants in the distance, zebras moving in lines, and lions lounging in the shade, one eye always open. You return at sunset, dust on your shoes and something ancient in your chest.
