From lion country to gorilla highlands — a short, powerful safari across East Africa’s wild heart
In just six days, you’ll stand beneath acacia trees watching lions hunt, trace rhino paths through Lake Nakuru’s forests, and kneel in Bwindi while a silverback looks straight through you. This isn’t a quick safari. It’s a concentrated one — intense, intimate, and unforgettable.

End Location: Entebbe

Leave Nairobi early and descend into the Great Rift Valley. The journey is scenic — escarpments, small towns, Maasai villages. By early afternoon, you’re in the Masai Mara.
After lunch, your first game drive begins. The plains are alive — elephants in the distance, zebras moving in lines, and lions lounging in the shade, one eye always open. You return at sunset, dust on your shoes and something ancient in your chest.

You rise before the sun. The land feels timeless in the early light. Today, you go deeper — crossing riverbanks, open plains, wooded ridges. Cheetahs may be perched, scanning. Hyenas might trail behind herds. Lions lie in wait.
You’ll carry picnic lunch and stay out most of the day. Every turn is a possibility.

You leave after breakfast and head toward Lake Nakuru — passing green hills and farms as the Rift Valley reveals itself again.
In the afternoon, you enter the park. Flamingos shimmer on the water. Rhinos graze calmly near the track. Rothschild’s giraffes drift through the acacia forest. The pace here is quiet — but the sightings are strong.

You wake early, nervous and excited. After a short briefing, you begin the trek — guided by trackers and rangers. The forest is thick, the air still, the sounds alive. Then you find them. A silverback. Infants tumbling. A mother, watching.
You stay for one hour — and it changes everything.
Later, return to the lodge for rest, or take an optional community walk to meet the Batwa people.
